Clinical Supervision

Dr Simone Gindidis is a Board Approved Supervisor and Endorsed Educational & Developmental Psychologist. She is the Director of SavvyPsych and brings a unique blend of clinical, academic, and digital health leadership to her supervision services. As the first Clinical Lead at a prominent Australian digital therapeutics company, Simone shaped clinical best practices for serious games and mHealth tools, and now advises on integrating digital innovation into assessment and therapy.

This digital health expertise sets Simone apart—she supports supervisees to build competence not only in traditional psychological framework, but also in evidence‑based digital tools and ethically sound HealthTech integration.

She has a rich professional background spanning private practice, schools, non-profit community language schools, leadership roles in digital health, and tertiary education as research and clinical supervisor as well as university lecturer. In addition to SavvyPsych she currently works as a Senior Educational and Developmental Psychologist at Monash Health within the Paediatric Neurodevelopmental Assessment Clinic.

Her supervision approach is grounded in creating a supportive, growth-oriented environment where supervisees feel empowered to develop their professional competence. Dr Gindidis incorporates deliberate practice, focusing on specific skills and techniques through targeted exercises and reflective discussion. This structured method enables the identification of areas for improvement and the development of strategies to strengthen clinical competencies.

Collaboration is central to her philosophy. She fosters open dialogue and mutual respect, ensuring supervisees feel comfortable sharing experiences and perspectives.

A hallmark of her supervision style is the integration of feedback-informed treatment (FIT) and routine outcome monitoring, emphasising the value of regularly collecting and analysing client feedback to guide therapeutic interventions. This data-driven approach ensures responsiveness to client needs and continual improvement in clinical effectiveness.

Dr Gindidis offers both individual and group supervision modalities, designed to empower supervisees through deliberate practice, collaborative learning, and evidence-based feedback. With extensive experience in neurodevelopmental and learning assessments informed by a therapeutic assessment (TA) paradigm and grounded in the latest neuropsychological research such as CHC theory, she provides a robust and supportive environment for professional growth.
